Neighborwood

A neighborhood bartering app, built around sharing and a sense of belonging.

A little more sharing. A little more connection.

I’m building Neighborwood to help people exchange goods, services, and skills with others in their neighborhood. The idea is simple: something you have, know, or can do might be exactly what someone nearby needs.

I want those everyday exchanges to become a starting point for knowing the people around us. My hope is to create a place where asking for help, offering something useful, and feeling part of a community come naturally.

Green as a feeling of belonging.

I chose green to connect the brand with nature, growth, and the feeling of being rooted somewhere. Deep forest tones, softer greens, and warm cream give Neighborwood the atmosphere of a welcoming place.

The illustrated woodland brings that idea to life. Neighbors share a garden, exchange things, and spend time together. I wanted the first impression to carry the same warmth and connection I hope to build into the app.

A peaceful place to end the page.

For the footer, I wanted to leave people with a sense of peace, calm, and community. The open cream background gives the page room to breathe, while the green landscape feels like a quiet neighborhood you could wander into.

The homes and winding paths suggest people living close to one another, connected by small everyday moments. It’s the feeling I want Neighborwood to carry: somewhere welcoming, where there’s room for you.

Still growing.

Neighborwood is an ongoing project and the app is still under development. These first views share the idea and visual direction I’m building toward. I’ll add more as the project takes shape.
